About This Blog

Hello dear reader!

The original aims of this blog were many: to shed a little bit of light onto the fascinating life of spiders; to discuss the ups and downs of being a PhD student, and research in general; and to improve my writing skills (so feedback is very welcome!).

As time has gone on, it has evolved more into a blog about PhD difficulties, mainly due to the therapeutic effects that writing has on me. I’ve struggled throughout my PhD, and blogging not only made me feel better, but responses from others feeling the same have made us all feel less alone, I hope!

Thank you for visiting my blog, and I hope you enjoy it!

If you wanted an awesome science/biomechanics blog, check out Bird Brained Science by Alex Evans. It’s well cool.
